ALPHA Mix
A channel plug-in with profiles for your source and genre.
Plug-ins
Great sound on the channel. Your own plug-ins alongside.
ALPHA's tools are already in the session, and the VST3 and Audio Unit plug-ins you own work with them.
Built in
Nothing to install and nothing to hunt for.
ALPHA EQ
Five bands on every track, right in the Mix window.
ALPHA Comp
Threshold, ratio, attack and release, one click away.
Your plug-ins, safely apart
ALPHA runs third-party plug-ins apart from your session, to protect your work if one of them fails.
VST3 effects and instruments
Scan them once and use them on any insert.
Audio Units on Mac
Use the AU effects and instruments you already own.
Delay compensation
Every path stays in time, however many plug-ins you add.
Questions
Does ALPHA support VST3 and AU?
Yes, effects and instruments on a Mac.
Does ALPHA support AAX?
Not as a host. AAX plug-ins run only in Avid's software.
What are ALPHA Plugins?
ALPHA Plugins are our own instruments and effects. The first ones are built in, and more are planned as paid add-ons.
