Questions

Is ALPHA a replacement for Pro Tools?

For writing and producing, that is our goal. If your work depends on HDX, AAX or post-production exchange formats, keep Pro Tools for now.

Can I move my sessions over?

Not as session files. Export your tracks as audio and MIDI, then import them.

Does it use the same shortcuts?

Many of the core ones match. ALPHA lists them all in Settings.
